The fourth installment of Kicking Back To Barbershop series. This album raises money for the 2024 Cleveland NextGen Quartet contest competitors. All proceeds go to scholarship funds to help the quartets get to and enjoy their stay.
The Kicking Back to Barbershop series is a digital album series that has raised over $5,000 for HFI’s NextGen Scholarship fund. Since the KBTB project’s inception in 2015, I have recorded three albums during the BHS international conventions. I focus on a natural performance style of recording barbershop quartets instead of isolated recordings, because I want to bring the most authentic-sounding version of the ensemble through the speakers to you. I produced, mixed and mastered the first three KBTB albums on my own.
